Sherri Gillette has been our Founder, Owner, and Chief Executive Officer since Fall of 2010. Sherri brings years of sales, marketing, public relations, and team-building experience to the business. She has worked for large corporations like Pella Corporation, Frigidaire, and Rain Bird. She has experienced first-hand the challenges of helping an aging parent navigate major life transitions. Additionally, she has earned the prestigious Senior Relocation and Transition Specialist certification (CRTS). Sherri is also our resident liquidation and auction junkie - having spent much of her life learning and appreciating the value of found treasures. She believes that Caring Transitions allows her to combine all her experiences to create a uniquely positive solution for seniors and their families. Sherri has a B. A. in English, Speech, and History and a Master’s in Business with a concentration in Marketing. She oversees and supports every facet of the overall business. Caring Transitions of Southern Arizona is a multiple recipient of Franchise of the Year and Pioneer Spirit Award has been the #1 franchise in the country since 2013 and was a 2022 Better Business Bureau Torch Award finalist for Ethics and Integrity. Sherri is committed to servant leadership and is actively involved in supporting new and established owners with training and problem-solving. Sherri knows that a business is only as good as its team members and she is supported by the best – including three officers: Celene Gillette, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Toni Smith, Chief Financial Officer, and Matt Gillette, Chief Operations Officer.
